North Texas Makers is an event-management organization in Denton, Texas that emphasizes creating a community of artists and makes in the North Texas area. My position at NTM requires me to present and execute social campaigns and printed graphics for the yearly Denton Makers Fest event - a 100+ vendor festival on the historic Denton Square.
My major project in the development of the North Texas Makers' brand was creating the mascot, Howie. Howie is a mischievous little pink ball who can aways be spotted wearing his iconic tea cowboy hat. Howie has a habit of hiding in social media posts, in photographs from the festival, and around Denton during NTM Takeover Week.
